Meat Makes Sense

Under the guiding principles for a new food guide from Health Canada, they believe that eating more plant protein and less animal protein will lead to healthier Canadians. Of course, that opens a whole new set of issues such as protein or vitamin deficiencies, as well as more processed products likely being consumed. While we are completely in favour of every Canadian deciding for themselves whether they prefer animal or plant products, it should be just that – an individual choice. Here are a few examples of the benefits of animal protein:
